This manual is a follow-up to the two-part manual on translation of international documents by E. E. Osetrova and D. K. Davletshina "Challenges to International Security" (M., MGIMO-University, 2023-2024).The manual has an identical structure, but it focuses on new challenges to security - hybrid wars, non-linear warfare and asymetric confl icts, information-and cybersecurity warfare. The manual is designed for students majoring in International Relations and Regional Studies with B2 level of English.
The coursebook was developed by a team of authors at the English Language Department No. 4, MGIMO University. It is intended for first-year Master’s students enrolled in the programme in Management (38.04.02), as well as for professionals seeking to enhance their command of English in the fields of management, business, and B2B communication, studying Business English at CEFR level C1. The adaptive structure of the coursebook also allows it to be used effectively in groups with CEFR level B2 proficiency. This course is designed for university students of International Trade and Environmental Protection. It is aimed at building up students’ competences that enable them to be efficient in solving various professional tasks using English as means of international communication. The course structure comprises two parts: Part 1. Efficient Correspondence for International Trade and Environmental Protection, Part 2.
