Abstract:
This textbook is designed to develop legal translation skills in the context of studying the main institutions of the Anglo-American legal family (common law system), while simultaneously focusing on specialized legal terminology. The textbook includes an appendix that provides a wide range of sample documents used in Anglo-American practice and directly related to the topics covered. For undergraduate students of the International Law Faculty of MGIMO University, studying the professional aspect of the English language. Previous editions of the first part of the textbook were published in 2017 and 2021 by MGIMO-University Publishing House.
