The aim of the Textbook is to familiarize students – non-regional studies specialists – with various aspects of social life, history, culture and religion of Iran through the language. The volume of introduced vocabulary is about 900 units, including the vocabulary of texts and exercises. The source for the selection of texts were Iranian textbooks, guidebooks, the press, Internet resources. When compiling the dictionaries, Persian-Russian and Russian-Persian dictionaries were used, as well as explanatory dictionaries of the Persian language published in Iran. The textbook consists of 9 lessons.
