Abstract:
This textbook is designed to teach basic and intermediate skills in working with periodicals and multimedia information materials in Urdu. It offers a basic course in socio-political translation of Urdu and covers protocol and official events, visits, and negotiations. All texts and exercises in the textbook are based on original materials and are designed to enable students to master the most commonly used words and expressions in newspaper and political language, as well as lexical and grammatical constructions. For undergraduate students of the Faculty of International Relations at MGIMO University, majoring in "International Regional Studies," and studying Urdu.
