Containerization, decarbonization and digitalization stand for the major tendencies influencing the dynamics of international transport logistics. Containerization is rooted in standardized under the umbrella of ISO transport equipment – containers – designed for the carriage of general and what is more crucial nowadays bulk cargo. Speaking about decarbonization the most prominent results, albeit still debatable, have been achieved in maritime and air segments. In case of shipping such motion resulted in IMO Net-Zero Framework, whereas in case of air – Carbon Offsetting and Reduction Scheme for International Aviation (CORSIA). As far as digitalization is concerned, intellectual transportation system stands for the core institutional and technical platform sustaining the process. Autonomous transport is viewed as a promising direction of further digitalization trend.
